Could we also turn the Genre talk section into a download section. A lot of bands have material out there but most bands are dead and almost impossible for people to find their material. I'd put myself on the line to upload my own files onto rapidshare/mediafire/megeupload for you guys. I will mainly be posted in the emo thread because that is my main focus for this board. But I wanted to get into a vote. We could turn the music section into a music archive database. This forum wouldn't be prosecuted with fines because they are links from megaupload and such. So this would be a bulletproof plan.

I don't think it's a good idea. If you want to pirate music, then find it on your own time, with your own resources. There are already enough places to find pirated music. I think this should remain a discussion forum.

Yes me too i think that isn't a good idea. There is some rules about the copyrigt.. and however is forbidden download of music without copyright.....We leave that GS continue to be a forum of discussion and exchanges of opinions

there are many places on the web where u can find free music.
xept from the unlegal dl sites, u can often dl tracks from the artists official homepage, or other sites that that artist have, like their myspace page.

there are also many new artists out there. the internet gives them a new way to promote new music, reaching the whole world instantly. a large number of sites have been made for this purpose.

in the forum New Band and Musicians under INFORMATIONS AND REVIEWS will b a very good place to find, and post, info about new artists, their music, and places to find them, their music, promoting tools and downloads ( they are often Free)
