![]() | Hardcore has branched out into so many different sounds that everyone has some sort of different opinions on what hXc is. One full piece of truth though is that it started out with hardcore punk in the 80's. After that, it eventually branched out other genres such as Grindcore and Metalcore. The only thing that annoys me about today's Scene "Hardcore" bands is when their fans act like they're the only hXc bands ever in existence, such as BMTH or Blessthefall. I'm not saying that they suck. I'm just pointing out the ignorance of some of their fans. Overall, I think my favorite hXc genres would be hXc Punk and Metalcore.

![]() | Hardcore can be defined differently I think for everyone. It's a branch on a tree this brach having many different leaves. For me REAL or HARDCORE:HARDCORE bands are bands like Madball and H2O. then theres Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and Cancer Bats. All these bands being great. xx |

![]() | good points. i love 80s hxc. But ur right hxc has branched out so much they all got there own scene and trends now. its not a family anymore. i was talking to some metal head last year about how hxc is here to stay and has earned to be recognized. He laughed and said its only been around for two years. I was surprised at what he said. this is coming from a dude who listens to metal bands who were influence by 3rd generation hxc and also listens to old school punk bands like DK thinking it neverd existed. but wat I hate is when new kids say there hxc just cuse they listen to shit like job for a cowboy. Thats at the most is hxc influence Metal. I mean if the band isnt passing the mic and there isnt at least a few stage dives then its just metal with breakdowns |
