| Senior Member | Non Sence by all Measures , and below Floyds standards ![]() quote // I really recommand that the three DAVIDS must go home , in addition to graham & richard . This dvd came to my attention by mistake , & believe it was a call in the wind . I knew all P.F works since 1968 , & i can't remember anything from thousands of days that David wants me to remember , so , in fact it must be called ( ECHOES concert ) , So they got much more credits . Sorry from all reviewrs this is my opinion in this so called REMEMBER THAT DAY , but still , it's on safe library . Not to mention the awefull work ( on an island ) So , goodnight everyone?????????????? And here's a star for ECHOES (its worth it ) - N.B = no progressive fan can tolerate voices of David Bowie , David Crosby or Graham Nash , interpreting Pink Floyd Masterpieces , not even Richard Wright for certain points . And that was the fall of the Floyd's in many live concerts . and to be more accurate in this review , if they just delete their voives from this DVD , it earns simply a 6 Stars instead of a single one . unquote // The Track listings as follows = Disc One: 1. Speak To Me 2. Breathe 3. Time 4. Breathe (Reprise) 5. Castellorizon 6. On An Island (With David Crosby and Graham Nash) 7. The Blue (With David Crosby and Graham Nash) 8. Red Sky At Night 9. This Heaven 10. Then I Close My Eyes (With Robert Wyatt) 11. Smile 12. Take A Breath 13. A Pocketful Of Stones 14. Where We Start 15. Shine On You Crazy Diamond (With David Crosby and Graham Nash) 16. Fat Old Sun 17. Coming Back To Life 18. High Hopes 19. Echoes 20. Wish You Were Here 21. Find The Cost Of Freedom (With David Crosby and Graham Nash) 22. Arnold Layne (With David Bowie) 23. Comfortably Numb (with David Bowie) Line-up/Musicians - David Gilmour / lead and backing vocals, electric, acoustic and lap steel guitars, cumbus (10), alto saxophone (8) - Richard Wright / lead and backing vocals, hammond organ, piano, synthesizer - Dick Parry / Tenor and baritone saxophones, electronic organ - Phil Manzanera / twelve strings acoustic guitar, electric guitar, backing vocals - Guy Pratt/ bass guitar, backing vocals, electric guitar (10) - Jon Carin / synthesizer, backing vocals, lap steel guitar - Steve DiStanislao / drums, percussion Special Guests: - David Bowie / lead vocals (22 & 23) - David Crosby / backing vocals (6, 15 & 21) - Graham Nash / backing vocals (6, 15 & 21) - Robert Wyatt / cornet (10) The Main team was Amazing , but their guests doesn't fit in this work . But Regardless , i really love all C,S,N,Y works since Woodstock 69 , also i respect and love all David Bowie's albums since the 70's , specially Aladdine Sane & his participation in the movie " Christine . F " in performing live in some act , and the making of the soundtrack recordings . And sorry i have no more stars to offer /////////////// TracksToni /// |
