Gloria Gaynor's first album, Never Can Say Goodbye was released on MGM Records in 1975. It's famous for being the first disco album in the history. The album features three hit singles; "Honey Bee", "Never Can Say Goodbye" and "Reach Out, I'll Be There" which are featured on the album's first side in a 19 minutes disco suite. Today more likely to be referred to as a megamix, then a famous first devised by Tom Moulton. The side two of the album favours slower Soul music songs commonplace at the time. The best songs on side two are "False Alarm" and the self penned single, "Real Good People" which was aimed at the Urban music market. Overall, what makes her debut album most enjoyable is Gaynor's passionate vocal style she brings to each song. ![]() Track listing Side one 1. "Honey Bee" 2. "Never Can Say Goodbye" 3.
